In my early teens I knew I wanted to work with people who have special needs, later in life I pursued that passion graduating from Okanagan College with my Special Needs Certification. My career started in Vernon working with adults with special needs, later finding a good fit working as a Program Support Worker at a Kelowna Care Home, focus was with adults who had organic or traumatic brain injury. I continued to work there for over 25 years. Wanting a change of pace, I was given the opportunity to move to Salmon Arm and work at NOSBIS as a Life Skills Worker, able to stay in the field where my passion lies. My other interests are exploring the outdoors. This includes hiking, camping, and snowshoeing to name a few favourite activities. I always put my whole heart into my work and play!
